Welcome to Higher Ground, a café and wellness space in the heart of Brighton. Downstairs, you’ll find great coffee, raw juices, ceremonial cacao, home-cooked food and our little shop. Upstairs, our resident therapists offer treatments in two calm, softly lit rooms with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams.
Stay for a slow morning with a friend, shop for supplements, or book a treatment and have lunch afterwards.

Downstairs: the café
Home-cooked food, good coffee and ceremonial cacao, made with care. Come as you are, whether you’re after a flat white or a quiet place to sit. Ask us about adding a lion’s mane or other adaptogen boost to your drink.
Our little shop
Take a bit of Higher Ground home with you. Our shop is stocked with small-batch, independent brands we love, including ceremonial cacao, full spectrum CBD oil and chai, functional mushroom tinctures, adaptogenic coffee, natural skincare, perfumes, candles and essential oils. Pop in and have a browse while you’re here.
Upstairs: the therapies
Acupuncture, massage, reflexology, reiki, breath work and more, all with experienced practitioners. Browse the weekly timetable and book directly with your chosen therapist. Treatment times are separate from café hours, so check the timetable first.
Workshops, events and gift cards
Saturdays are for workshops and gatherings. A gift card is a lovely way to give someone time to rest.
